Spotting and claiming your listing
Find your company's listing on Discovera Launch, open it, and select "Claim". Alternatively, head straight to /claim/<listing>. You'll need to prove you control the company's domain—think of it as signing the trail register before you can map the territory.
Proving domain control
Choose one of these verification methods:
- Receive a secret link sent to an email address at your company domain
- Add a DNS TXT record to your root domain
- Place a meta tag on your homepage
- Upload a small verification file to your website
Verification codes expire after 14 days, so complete the process promptly. If yours has expired, simply start the claim again.
What the Verified badge means
Once verified, you become the listing owner. You can edit all details, correct information, and add updates as your company evolves. The Verified badge signals that you control the domain—it's a permanent marker on the map, never sold and entirely separate from paid placement or community votes. Your rank here is set by what people discover and vote for, not by verification status.
Questions people ask
- Can I buy the Verified badge or get it any other way?
- No. The Verified badge only comes from proving domain control. It's never sold, and community votes—not payment—determine your listing's rank.
- What happens if my verification code expires?
- Start the claim process again. Codes last 14 days, so complete whichever verification method you choose before then.
- Will verification let me edit my listing?
- Yes. Claiming your listing makes you the owner, so you can edit all company details, update information, and manage how it appears.
