Why is my listing held until my founder profile is complete?
Complete your founder profile to release your listing from hold and bring it live on Discovera Launch.

Building your field notes
Before your discovery can go live, we need to know who spotted it. Your founder profile at /account/founder is where you log your identity on the platform. We ask for:
- A photograph and one-line caption about it
- Your full name and current title or role
- Your country of origin
- A bio of at least 80 characters
- At least one personal link—your own website or social profile (not your company's pages)
City and a founder story are optional, but they help other explorers understand your trail.
What happens to your listing
You can draft, submit and pay for your listing without a complete profile. However, it remains on hold—invisible to the community—until your founder profile is finished. The good news: the moment you complete it, your listing releases automatically. There's no re-submission needed.
If your paid week has already passed while the profile was incomplete, your listing goes live this week at no extra cost. For free-queue listings, we slot you into the next available week.
Logging co-founders
Want to share the discovery? Invite co-founders from the Team section at /account/founder. They'll appear alongside your product once their own profiles are complete.
Questions people ask
- Can I publish without finishing my founder profile?
- No. Your listing stays on hold until the profile is complete, but it releases automatically once you finish. Your paid week is preserved.
- What counts as a personal link?
- Your own website, blog or personal social profile. Company pages and business social accounts don't count—we want to know you, not your organisation.
- How do co-founders get added to a listing?
- Invite them from /account/founder's Team section. They appear on your product once they've filled in their own profiles.
